Worship…

This morning in my leadership group, we were talking about worship.  How do you spend your time worshiping God?  What is it that you do?  For me, I worship God in song, prayer, through my photography, and in the quiet.  Some of the best times for me worshiping is when I am behind the camera.  When taking photos, it just amazes me the things that God is showing me.  I just love to see what kind of photos I’m going to come up with that are going to glorify God and his majesty.

Today’s Verse from the New Living Translation

I love the LORD because he hears my voice     and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen,     I will pray as long as I have breath!… How kind the LORD is! How good he is!     So merciful, this God of ours!Psalm 116:1–2, 5 Encouragement for Today We have good reason to pray and keep praying: God listens and acts! How many prayers has God answered in your life? How can the memory of those answered prayers encourage you to keep praying? When God answers prayer, do you take time to thank him and revel in gratitude, as the psalmist does here? (above in the verse for today)

I do love the Encouragement for Today, from Today’s Christian Woman.  Sometimes it really makes me think about what I am doing or what I should be doing in my life on a daily basis.I hope everyone has a great day, even though it is raining out and starting to freeze up a little bit, I’m still going to glorify and worship God today.  I think that is one thing we take for granted.  When days aren’t good at all, whether it is because we are having a bad day or if the weather is terrible, we tend to curse and go into our shell and don’t want to talk to anyone, let alone talk to God.  Those are the moments in life when we need to worship him the most.  I know it is the time that God is really making me think.  That would be a good time to thank him for such a glorious day just to be with him.
