Lots going on!!!

22 02 2009

Wow, it’s been a while.  There has been a lot going on in our lives.  Last June I was diagnosed with a mild form of MS.  I went back to the Neurologist about 4 weeks ago and he is very comfortable to have diagnosed me with Relapsing-Remitting MS.  I have now taken my second treatment for the MS.  I give myself a shot once a week inter-muscularly.  It’s not as bad as it sounds.  This treatment will not stop MS since there isn’t a cure for it, but it will help slow the progression of the MS down.  I’m going to do the MS walk in April, so I’m trying to set some thing up with my church for us to be able to use the facility to maybe have a chili supper or spaghetti dinner or whatever I can get sponsored.  I want to be able to turn in a lot of money for more research to find a cure for MS.

Anyway, since last time I was on here, I also just found out that I’m going to be a gramma, possibly around September.  That’s when my birthday is.  So far at WIC they are estimating September 22nd.  That’s 3 days before my birthday.  But my daughter goes to the Dr on Wednesday (2/25/09) to find out for sure.  So when the baby is born, I will either still be 39 or just hit 40.

Well, not much else to talk about right now.  I have to go clean and then I’m going to spend time with the hubs.

Much love to all and keep pressin’ in to Jesus!!!

Encouraging Word

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.”
