My Family

      My family is the second most important thing in my life.  Of course Jesus is the first.  I have a beautiful daughter that is living on her own and I have a handsome son that is finishing his last year in High School.

My husband Brian, is a very hard worker.  He works for a railroad distribution company and works with steel every day.  Could you imagine having to lift steel everyday.  I can tell you that his arms are solid as rocks.  He just got a promotion at work and I am extremely proud of him.  All the bosses have been watching him and have seen the terrific job that he does everyday.  Brian is my hero.  He is always by my side no matter what is going on.  I’m grateful that God has put him in my life.  I couldn’t imagine life without him.

My daughter Amanda was born July 1988.  We have had a lot of heartache with her due to the crowd she used to hang with, but now that she has been out of the house for 2 years our relationship is probably better than it was when she lived here.  When next semester starts at Maple Woods Community College, she is planning on going.  I truly hope she does.  *UPDATE*  Since Amanda has been out of our house, she has been living with her boyfriend Brandon.  As of Monday, 1/28/08, she got approved for her own apartment.  She is going to be living in a studio apartment and she is extremely excited.  We are all happy for her too.  I think she is showing responsibility and realizing that it isn’t good to be living with her boyfriend and his family.

My son Brian was born November 1989.  We have had a couple of problems with him, but nothing major.  Over all, he is a pretty good kid.  He is heavily involved in our churches student ministry.  Not only does he attend the High School ministry, he also is involved with helping in it.  One thing that he loves, is being able to work with the kids in our Middle School Ministry.  That is on Sundays during 2nd service.  I am very proud of him.

As for myself,  I know I explained all of this in my tab, About Stephi Michelle, but I will give a brief rundown.  I have been married to the love of my life since April 22, 1989.  I was 19 when we got married and we are still happily married today.  Both my husband and I have been born to Christ since October 17, 1993.  I am apprenticing in a group for women who have been sexually abused as children.  Well, it is actually about any abuse as a child, but the book is mostly on sexual abuse.  I am also apprenticing along with my husband under our group leaders so we can hopefully here soon, have our own couples group.  We enjoy being leaders in our church.  Another hobby I have is taking pictures.  I love playing with my camera to see what kind of shots I get.  They may not be super, but I love it.

*UPDATE*  Brian and I will be leading our group on Saturday evenings starting (2/02/08) along with another couple that is in leadership.  We are very excited about it starting.  We are especially excited to be leading along with the other 2 leaders that will be there.
